Salaried Partners and Equity Partners
Are you a salaried partner or an equity partner within a business?
Capital Fortune have years of experience in assisting salaried partners (sometimes referred to as contract partners) and equity partners obtain a mortgage - often, but not necessarily, in law and accountancy firms.
We appreciate that salaried partners are paid a salary but do not have any ownership of the business and will not share in the partnership's distributions - although bonuses are quite common. Salaried partners sometimes face difficulties in obtaining a mortgage as their particular income situation is not that common and sometimes misunderstood.
We also appreciate that Equity partners can face difficulties in obtaining a mortgage, particularly if they have been an equity partner for less than 2 years. Some lenders will class equity partners as self employed and therefore require a full 2 year track record as an equity partner.
Feel free to contact us directly, either by phone or using our enquiry form, so that we can discuss your unique circumstances and quickly give you a response as to whether we can help.
